Solar PPA Workshop

An educational workshop on solar power purchase
agreements (PPAs) from 7 - 8:30pm. Power Purchase
Agreements are a new way to purchase solar where you
don't have to buy the panels - you just commit to a
monthly charge for the electricity coming from your
roof. After an upfront cost, your combined monthly
payment is less than before. Main speaker will be
Robert Frehling, an energy expert, who helped develop
the first generation of PPAs. His talk will be
followed by a specific success story given by a
leading vendor. Workshop will be held on November
20th at our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lafayette
(1035 Carol Lane). Please send an email to

Green Rheem Film Night

In conjunction with other Lamorinda community
organizations, we are proud to announce the next
Green Rheem film night on November 13th, 2008 at
Rheem Theater. A $14 ticket (online price) includes
local wines and appetizers in the lobby starting at
6pm, followed by the movie "Dead in the Water" at
7pm. We hope to feature Green Rheem film nights once
per month.

The next Lamorinda Green Drinks event will be
Tuesday, November 11th starting at 4:30pm at Pizza
Antica in Lafayette.
Beer, wine, and soft drinks for sale and
complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Pizza Antica will give
